Team Work

Ā

Practical, science backed support to help teams manage stress, focus better, and cope with everyday pressures.

We work with teams to reduce work-related stress and fatigue, improve focus, and strengthen day-to-day functioning. Through our partnerships, teams integrate practical, physiology first breath and movement strategies into everyday working life, encouraging steadier responses, clearer thinking, and more sustainable ways of working.

Calmer, clearer, more capable work days.

Physiology based support to help teams work with greater calm, clarity, and capacity.

Small Shifts delivers live, facilitator led sessions that equip teams with practical strategies they can use every day. Across four 45-minute live sessions, teams learn to:

  • Breathe more efficiently to support focus and stress regulation

  • Improve posture and reduce unnecessary physical tension

  • Gradually shift their baseline so the nervous system can recover and respond differently over time

We don’t offer quick fixes. Instead, we focus on helping teams understand the science in a clear, accessible way, building confidence to use the right strategies at the right time and integrate them into everyday working life.

As part of the programme, we also train a member of your team to become an internal facilitator. This enables them to:

  • Lead safe, effective sessions with confidence

  • Maintain momentum using guided audio resources and session materials

  • Access further learning and support as needed

Ongoing membership access allows teams to continue using guided audios, learning resources, and practical tools that reinforce skills and support lasting change.

Inspire

Through four weeks of facilitator-led live sessions, teams are introduced to practical, physiology-based strategies that support calmer responses, clearer focus, and effective day-to-day functioning.

Train

Lasting change works best when skills sit within the team. We train a nominated team member to become an internal facilitator, building confidence to support ongoing practice in everyday working life.

Sustain

Sustaining change requires more than one-off sessions. We review outcomes, support teams to reflect on what’s working, and provide ongoing access to tools and resources that reinforce skills over time.

Cornwall Partnership NHS FoundationĀ

This programme had some of the highest engagement we’ve seen across the Trust. Staff in high-pressure clinical roles made time to learn new skills, and many reported feeling better able to manage stress and stay present during demanding days. By the end, they were recommending the sessions to colleagues and keen to use the techniques with patients and peers.

This course gave our staff a clear, science-based understanding of how breathwork supports stress regulation and focus. Lucy’s practical demonstrations were easy to use straight away, and the weekly challenges kept people engaged. Staff have already begun sharing the techniques with colleagues and patients.
