A different approach to supporting physical activity
Â
Everyone starts somewhere different.Â
Â
Some people would like to be more active but don't know where to start.
Others find that stress, fatigue or everyday demands make it difficult to stay consistent.
Some are already active but feel that movement is harder than it should be.
If any of this sounds familiar, this programme may be for you.
Rather than giving everyone the same programme, we begin by understanding what's influencing your physical activity and adapt the support to what matters most to you.
How the programme works
Before you begin
Everyone starts somewhere different. Before the programme begins, we'll take time to understand where you are now, what's getting in the way, and what you're hoping to achieve. You’ll complete a few simple questionnaires to help us personalise your support throughout the programme.Â
Weeks 1-6
Following your initial assessment, we'll introduce the knowledge and practical skills that are most relevant to you. Throughout the programme, we'll continue to review what's influencing your physical activity and adapt the support as your needs change.
Support that adapts to you
As the programme progresses, we'll continue to identify what's influencing your physical activity and adapt the support accordingly. This may include topics such as confidence, stress, fatigue, sleep, pain and tension, breathlessness, pacing, energy, and progress and consistency.
Practise
Between sessions, you'll put what you've learned into practice in ways that fit your life. Each week focuses on helping you apply what you've learned through practice.
Reflect
You'll complete a short weekly check-in (around 2–3 minutes). This helps you reflect on your progress, recognise what's changing, identify what's getting in the way, and allows us to adapt the support as you move through the programme.
